Case History :

A 45 year old male with a firm, grayish white nodule on the left side  of the neck. CD 34 is strongly positive.


  Image 1 - Low power view of a dermal tumour. At this power you can see the superficial grenz  zone is separating the tumour from the epidermis
   Image 2 - The tumour is composed of interwoven bundles of spindle cells with plump nuclei arranged in a storiform or cartwheel pattern.
  Image 3 - Dermal tumour which extends into the subcutis where it infiltrates around small groups of fat cells in a lacy or linear fashion.
  Image 4 - Further section showing the tumour cells around fat cells
